THE ROLE:

The VP of Account Service will be responsible for the overall strategy and execution of all marketing channels to drive business, increase awareness, engagement and conversion for our clients. This individual is the conduit from the agency to the client. The right candidate should be a strategic and disciplined thinker and have a broad understanding of research, marketing and brand strategy, brand activation/execution, Word of Mouth Marketing, digital, content, media, measurement and analytics. This role will be responsible for directing our clients’ budget toward the most profitable long-term strategies that drive results for our clients. He/She will keep the work flowing into the agency, by establishing good relationships with clients and, constantly, keeping temperature on the quality of the work. PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

LEADERSHIP:

CLIENT MARKETING:

    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of clients’ business and recommend ways to improve media/marketing plans efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Ensure the clients’ media and marketing needs are addressed and analyzed in order to develop an effective media/marketing strategy.
    • Develop relationships with client’s senior level counterpart and jointly handle unfamiliar problems, situation, or issues.
    • Understand the client’s customer through Empower’s Planning processes and understand their marketing objectives to develop and measure the client’s Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Objective (ROO) and/or other measurement metrics.
    • Assist in the development and presentation of annual client P&L, compensation agreements, and oversees account profitability.
    • Accountable for the development and execution of Client Satisfaction Action Plans.
    • Responsible for the Client Discovery Process (gathering all marketing information and historical learnings).

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:

    • Partner with the New Business team by generating leads, identifying new business opportunities, assist/attend pitches, work with Specialists to develop strategic media recommendations, and provide resources as needed.
    • Work with the New Business team to determine the hours and compensation needed for new client                          assignments.
    • Determine the appropriate time and method to expand our current client relationships.
    • Prospect and develop opportunities to grow Empower revenue with potential new clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience developing traditional, digital and experiential marketing strategies, managing holistic programs and media campaigns. Strong experience in the Retail category is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and how they apply to the both digital and experience marketing.

Position Summary

The Content Engineer is an integral part of the Interactive practice at Empower MediaMarketing and is responsible for the maintenance of a variety of integrated processes across search, content, web management and web analytics.

The Interactive practice is comprised of team members from various disciplines, including technology, design and digital strategy. The mission of the team is to implement and optimize interactive marketing initiatives where quality content creation and distribution, as well as the overall web experience, are the primary drivers of consumer engagement and activation.

The focus of this position is on inbound marketing and the support of interactive content marketing initiatives that support client marketing strategies and objectives. This position will also assist in the development and execution of digital marketing programs.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Web Experience Management

  • Upload and manage content publishing within content management systems.
  • Evaluate web performance and user behavior and provide recommendations to improve user experience and performance. This could include site structure, page layout, navigation and usability.

Web Experience Management

  • Upload and manage content publishing within content management systems.
  • Evaluate web performance and user behavior and provide recommendations to improve user experience and performance. This could include site structure, page layout, navigation and usability.
  • Monitor and diagnose website problems, including broken links, formatting irregularities and indexing issues.
  • Work with various digital, search and social team members to perform holistic digital analysis, providing key insights and recommendations for on-going cross-channel integrations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, journalism, or computer science.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the interactive marketing field working on digital advertising and managing digital advertising programs, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and how their objectives are achieved through web management, content and search

The Programmatic Buying Specialist pushes the envelope of technological capability in bringing automated advertising campaigns to life. Working as part of the ClearTrade® programmatic buying solution at Empower, the Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and reporting on automated ad campaigns. The Programmatic Buying Specialist embraces change, enjoys coming up with hypotheses and testing them out, has an innate comfort in mathematics, and is an avid learner, able to synthesize outside information or ideas and apply them to client campaigns. The Specialist is equally comfortable working behind the scenes or directly with clients on a case by case basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Work from Campaign Briefs to develop programmatic plan recommendations, including:
    • Developing an understanding of the product/service
    • Investigating potential audience & contextual fits
    • Negotiating inventory and pricing with publishers
    • Deploying pixels to inform and improve on the above
  • Activate approved campaigns in technology platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and DSPs (Demand Side Platforms).
  • Works with multiple internal teams including digital media planners, analytics, search, and client teams.
  • Relentlessly test new and different ways to improve campaign performance against objective
  • Methodically track test scenarios, record learnings, and share widely across the team
