THE ROLE:

The Account Manager, Account Service is a proactive problem-solver who assists in collaborating with clients, Empower teams, outside agency/vendor partners. The Account Manager is responsible for delivering client work that is on strategy, on time and within budget. The Account Manager embraces change, has an innate comfort with organizing and analyzing data, is an avid learner and is able to quickly pick up new concepts, tools and technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Account Management and Client Accountability:
    • Develop in-depth expertise in clients’ business and markets.
    • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact with client to ensure an ongoing rapport and insight into their business.
    • Check accuracy of client documents and presentation materials, as needed.
    • Use appropriate agency departments/practices to complete work for clients.

  • Financial Management:

  • Agency Operations:

THE ROLE:

The Associate Director of Content plays a pivotal role in informing, planning and overseeing all content marketing activity.  This position resides within Empower’s Digital Marketing Communications Practice and will report directly to the Digital Marketing Communications Practice lead.

The mission of the Digital Marketing Communications Practice is to implement and optimize sustained digital marketing initiatives where quality content creation and distribution, as well as the overall web experience, are the primary drivers of consumer engagement and activation in support of critical performance indicators and marketing objectives.

The focus of this position is primarily on planning both high-level content strategy and specific content marketing executions. This position requires solid experience in developing content that creates user value, elicits deeper user engagement and drives marketing impact against very specific objectives.  The Associate Director of Content must also possess a solid understanding of strategic digital marketing, applying rigor to planning and managing to digital marketing objectives.  This position interfaces with several other practices across Empower MediaMarketing, including Technology, Creative, Integrated Strategy and Planning, Program Management and Account Services.  The Associate Director of Content also possess subject matter expertise across the entire digital landscape, as well as tactical experience in executing all forms of digital marketing communications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Translate marketing objectives into effective content strategy
  • Develop and own annual digital channel plans, working directly with internal client teams to create editorial planning frameworks that inform content creation and distribution

Associate, Data Management

Data helps marketers deliver the right message to the right person at the right place and time. Technology make those connections possible. This role sits at the intersection of Data and Technology, working among our online media teams.

The Data Management Associate is responsible for the organization, management and analysis of data flowing through the Data Management Platform (DMP) within Empower’s programmatic buying solution, ClearTrade®. The candidate will become well versed in Empower’s DMP tools and data partnerships to recommend and implement the right data for activation in clients’ advertising campaigns. The candidate will work closely with the buying team to ensure proper data flow to buying platforms. The Associate will generate reports, analyze data, build custom audiences, and recommend data uses to buyers based on client or agency objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the storage of 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data in Empower’s DMP
    • This includes the organization, management and creation of:
      • DMP taxonomy
      • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) files
      • Tracking tags
      • Target audiences
      • Brand personas/profiles
    • Responsible for on-boarding new data partners and vendors to the DMP
    • Monitors data warehouse to ensure data is tracking

Business Development Associate

The Business Development (BD) Associate will support the new business development team by managing pursuit logistics and overall team logistics and support prospecting efforts as needed. This role will report to the Business Development Practice Leader.

Pursuits

  • Assist team on RFI’s, RFP’s and Company Surveys (search consultant surveys or Biz Courier/Deloitte/Book of Lists etc.)
    • Manage deliverables and deadlines
    • Open job codes and manage Pivot projects
    • Initiate response/drafting/pulling and writing content
    • Facilitate need fulfillment throughout company (copywriter, designer etc.)

The Ad Ops Coordinator brings online advertising campaigns to life. Working closely with Digital Media and Search teams, the Ad Ops Coordinator is responsible for ad trafficking, entering and maintaining campaigns in financial management systems, campaign reporting, reconciling financial details, and generally supporting the Online Media Practice. This important role will support a variety of clients at Empower MediaMarketing.

VP – Account Service

THE ROLE:

The VP of Account Service will be responsible for the overall strategy and execution of all marketing channels to drive business, increase awareness, engagement and conversion for our clients. This individual is the conduit from the agency to the client. The right candidate should be a strategic and disciplined thinker and have a broad understanding of research, marketing and brand strategy, brand activation/execution, Word of Mouth Marketing, digital, content, media, measurement and analytics. This role will be responsible for directing our clients’ budget toward the most profitable long-term strategies that drive results for our clients. He/She will keep the work flowing into the agency, by establishing good relationships with clients and, constantly, keeping temperature on the quality of the work. Additionally, this role will be responsible for organic growth with existing clients and supporting business development efforts when needed. This is a key leadership role and therefore will guide/lead cross functional teams while working with internal and external partners that support our clients’ businesses. It is important for the individual in this role to have traditional media experience as it relates to buying and planning, TV, radio, print out of home, etc.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience developing traditional, digital and experiential marketing strategies, managing holistic programs and media campaigns. Strong experience in the Retail category is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and how they apply to the both digital and experience marketing.

Empower is looking to build out our Direct Response team with experienced leadership. Our Direct Response Associate Director/Director  collaborates and partners with clients, Empower’s media/channel specialist teams and agency partners to develop response-driven media solutions that drive results.

Detailed Description

  • Defines and prioritizes objectives for Direct Response campaigns: cost per lead, lead generation
  • Leads agency response team to plan, buy, negotiate and analyze Direct Response media across multiple channels
  • Ability to cross between national and local landscapes and understands how Direct Response differs in each
  • Analyzes cross channel reporting/dashboards to optimize campaigns appropriately
  • Has regular ongoing communications with clients about testing and optimizing throughout the campaign’s life
  • Implements new agency processes to deliver the best Direct Response product for Empower

Position Summary

The Content Engineer is an integral part of the Interactive practice at Empower MediaMarketing and is responsible for the maintenance of a variety of integrated processes across search, content, web management and web analytics.

The Interactive practice is comprised of team members from various disciplines, including technology, design and digital strategy. The mission of the team is to implement and optimize interactive marketing initiatives where quality content creation and distribution, as well as the overall web experience, are the primary drivers of consumer engagement and activation.

The focus of this position is on inbound marketing and the support of interactive content marketing initiatives that support client marketing strategies and objectives. This position will also assist in the development and execution of digital marketing programs.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Web Experience Management

  • Upload and manage content publishing within content management systems.
  • Evaluate web performance and user behavior and provide recommendations to improve user experience and performance. This could include site structure, page layout, navigation and usability.
  • Monitor and diagnose website problems, including broken links, formatting irregularities and indexing issues.
  • Work with various digital, search and social team members to perform holistic digital analysis, providing key insights and recommendations for on-going cross-channel integrations

SEO Management

  • Perform audits and information gathering services, including technical website analysis, competitive and keyword research and link analysis for client and prospective client sites
  • Identify, recommend and implement SEO strategies. Prepare and present updates and communications to clients and prospects.
  • Optimize site content, mobile apps and digital products for maximum visibility and ranking in the major search engines.
  • Develop and maintain SEO reports to monitor performance and provide optimization opportunities to improve visibility in search
  • Stay current with changing search engine algorithms and best practices for SEO, SEM and other algorithm based discovery engines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, journalism, or computer science.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the interactive marketing field working on digital advertising and managing digital advertising programs, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and how their objectives are achieved through web management, content and search

Skills, Specialized Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Basic understanding of digital analytics and measurement
  • A solid understanding of SEO techniques and best practices
  • Experience in other search engine marketing, particularly in paid search and social search or content strategy
  • Working knowledge of social media marketing principles
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress web development a plus
  • Experience with A/B testing a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize
  • Curious and passionate about content and digital marketing
