Director, Account Service

The Account Service Director is responsible for collaborating, leading and inspiring teams in an effort to provide great work for clients across multiple marketing channels for our Franchisee and/or QSR clients. This individual will manage and lead team to bring creative and strategic thinking to every media experience. In this role the candidate should be able to build strong teams and partnerships, establish the communication and responsibilities cadence across all internal practice teams and clients for which they are responsible. The right candidate should be a strategic, disciplined and innovative thinker, and have a broad understanding of Traditional Media Marketing (Buying Planning for TV, Radio, Print etc.), Marketing Research, Digital Media, Content Marketing, Measurement & Analytics and Social Media Marketing. The right candidate will come with track record of success in the working with Franchisee and/or QSR clients.

ACCOUNT/BUSINESS LEADERSHIP:

  • Develop relationships with client’s senior level counterpart and jointly handle unfamiliar problems, situation, or issues.
  • Responsible for the Client Discovery Process (gathering all marketing information and historical learnings).
  • Understands the client’s customer through Empower’s Planning processes.
  • Understand the client’s marketing objectives and develops (and measures) Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Objective (ROO) and/or other measurement metrics.
  • Responsible for ensuring clients’ media and marketing needs are addressed and analyzed in order to develop an effective media strategy.

    Job responsibilities

    • Practice Leader representing finance, accounting, client financial services ( billing) and advertising operations.
    • Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 employees
    • Manage monthly financial closing and reporting
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual P&L and cash flow and balance sheet forecasts

    Director/Associate Director RETAIL MEDIA PLANNER 

    The Retail Media Planner collaborates with Empower’s various practices and clients to ensure leading edge strategic thinking, cross-channel integration, and measurement/learnings are applied to our clients’ retail communication plans. Retail Planners leverage their understanding of traditional, digital, social, content, and messaging to deliver on our clients’ marketing goals.

    Retail Media Planners are:

    Detailed Description:

    • Has a general understanding of all channels and offerings and understands how they deliver on strategy

    • Works with Empower’s Integrated Strategy team to establish marketable opportunities and testable hypotheses

    THE ROLE:

    The Market Research Analyst’s primary responsibility will be to measure and analyze the effectiveness of advertising campaigns against business goals, campaign metrics and ROI. This includes managing research design, the analysis of data and its translation into actionable recommendations. The right candidate should be able to analyze data, make recommendations for how to improve the marketing plan based on his/her analysis. A key element of success in this position includes the ability to determine not only what can be reported but also the ability to determine what is the most important data to report.  The Market Research Analyst will evaluate vendor research and media effectiveness research methodologies with a critical eye. This position is client-facing and therefore, the ability to easily explain methodologies, complex data and conclusions will be paramount. Additionally, this position requires curiosity and self-motivation for staying current in this rapidly evolving industry.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Communicating with clients to understand and document business objectives

    THE ROLE:

    We are looking for a marketing expert who has mastered both Paid Search and Paid Social. The Associate Director, Paid Search & Social will focus on large-scale and multi-faceted campaigns and deliverables. This position will manage paid search and social planning and execution across all major search and social platforms. Prior hands on experience in paid search and social is a must. The Paid Search & Social Specialist will also be required to work onsite in a fast-paced, high-touch client office in Chicago 3 days a week.

    Responsibilities:

    THE ROLE:

    The New Business Specialist role will be responsible for prospecting and vetting potential clients for Empower MediaMarketing (EMM). The key measurement of success for this position is to generate qualified sales activity gained through networking, phone calls, outreach and meetings.  The role is primarily focused on generating interest and securing meetings and/or phone conversations with potential clients of EMM.  The right candidate will have a track record of generating a minimum of $1MM+ in new sales revenue annually.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Research and qualify prospective companies/contacts who align w/ EMM’s positioning
      • Establish connections with decision makers resulting in opportunities to qualify new prospects
      • Craft effective outreach messaging that speaks to a prospect’s key challenge(s) and aligns with EMM’s capabilities/positioning
      • Must understand the business and marketing challenges of key prospects and identify opportunities for EMM to meet those needs
      • Build prospects/contacts from existing clients, current agency executives, EMM influencers and other key professional relationships the individual might have

    The Search Associate Role Involves:

      THE ROLE:

      We have an immediate opening for an Account Services Associate/Coordinator. This role requires strong data entry skills with accuracy being key to success. The Associate/Coordinator embraces change, is an avid learner and is able to quickly pick up new concepts, tools and technologies. This role will participate in weekly status meetings and provide an administrative support function to the account teams.

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Manages all trafficking, budgeting, invoicing and competitive reporting needs on multiple client accounts
      • Ensures client invoices and related documents such as flowcharts and budgets are accurate and processed expeditiously
      • Assists in the development of buy summaries as well as ensuring the distribution summaries are sent to all partners as directed
      • Takes initiative to seek out answers to client/internal requests with appropriate urgency in a service-oriented manner
      • Fosters a good working relationship with clients and internal partners, either through direct contact or in support of client needs
      • Serves as an additional quality control stop-gap on client deliverables
      • Maintains account team project timelines and due dates.
      • Demonstrated work experience in meeting client contractual requirements; high attention to detail and demonstrated accuracy and timeliness.

       QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Superior analytical, detail, creative problem resolution skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities well and complete tasks to deadline by demonstrating strong organizational skills
      • The ability to work well under pressure and manage conflicting deadlines with a can- do attitude

      Summary:

      We are looking for new member of our Office Experience team, Office Experience Administrator, who must have a keen eye on the details while providing a welcoming experience to all those who come to our office. The right candidate will provide seamless support to the leadership team, our employees and, most importantly, our guests. This position will be responsible for a variety of touch points including daily office needs, managing company events and other activities. To be successful in this role, the right person must be a self-starter, able to work independently with little oversight and still be an active member of a team. A critical element of this role is to anticipate needs of many while managing the day‐to‐day workflow, prioritizing various and sometimes conflicting priorities/projects, while looking for innovative ideas to make us work smarter so we can focus on delivering a top class experience to our customers internally and externally.       Responsibilities:

      • Maintain the CEO’s schedule, including day-to-day and long-term management of meetings, projects, and priorities.
      • Manage travel for the organization and expenses for a group of leaders.
      • Take the ownership of maintaining office policies and procedures, company lists i.e. employee contact/seating information, parking and security details, storage etc.
      • Responsible for organizing, scheduling and prioritizing various meetings and calendar of events across the agency and ensuring all relevant details are communicated to participants in a timely manner.
      • Work with the Office Experience team to ensure the office is ready each day for client visits and employee business i.e. supplies, hospitality, organizing, submitting maintenance requests, ensuring the proper ordering/set-up/break down of events & meetings occur.
      • Provide top of class experience and support to all who come to Empower and always be thinking about opportunities and making recommendations on to enhance the experience for clients and employees.
      • Provide support to members of the agency leadership team as it relates to meeting preparedness, research, planning, information gathering and presentation development.
      • Serve as the first point of contact for a variety of high-level partnerships between the leadership team and clients/external contacts to include monitoring relationships, tracking contacts database and owning follow-up.
      • Administrative duties can vary from managing calls, emails, a variety of postal services, draft/edit correspondence, articles, reports, presentations and transcribing meeting notes when necessary.
      • As a member of the Office Experience Team, you will provide back‐up support for co‐workers when appropriate and actively support group goals.
      • Be aware at all times of overall customer comfort pertaining to greeting, rooms, dining & beverage experiences, transportation, etc. (customers include clients, employees, vendors etc.)

      Requirements/Qualifications

      • Must be have a proven track record of being a resourceful, strategic problem-solving with the ability to gain a strong understanding of the business in order to effectively interpret and anticipate needs.
      • Proven experience in executive administrative roles, while creating teams and partnerships at all levels across the organization and externally.
      • Proven organization and time management skills when owning multiple often conflicting priorities and deliverables in a fast paced ever changing environment.
      • Must be proficient in all MS Office Suite and an adopter of emerging business technologies will be critical in Empower’s paperless environment.
