Creative advances to national competition after local and regional wins
CINCINNATI, April 18, 2011—An online campaign and video for a totes>>ISOTONER new product launch has won Empower MediaMarketing a total of three awards in the District Five and in the Cincinnati 2011 ADDY Award competitions. The winning entries included the smarTouch “Give the Gift of Touch” online campaign and a supporting video, “Introducing smarTouch.”
Regionally the entries earned a gold Interactive Media award, competing against District Five ADDY entries submitted from American Advertising Federation (AAF) chapters across Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. In the local, Cincinnati-based competition the entry was recognized with two silver Interactive Media awards.
The work highlights one of totes>>ISOTONER’s newest products, smarTouch™ gloves. The touch screen compatible gloves were introduced before the holidays and quickly sold out of many stores due to higher than expected demand.
Empower MediaMarketing’s campaign to help raise awareness and generate demand for the gloves included public relations and word of mouth marketing support, as well as a sweepstakes allowing consumers to “Give the Gift of Touch.” By inviting their friends to participate via Facebook or e-mail, the consumers and their friends were entered for a chance to win a pair of Isotoner smarTouch gloves and an Apple iPad. The supporting video was used to highlight the benefits of smarTouch gloves through a humorous story about the perils of not having touch-screen friendly gloves.
