Kevin Dugan Joins Empower MediaMarketing as Director of Marketing


CINCINNATI, May 18, 2009—Kevin Dugan, an award-winning marketing strategist, has joined Empower MediaMarketing as director of marketing. In this new position, Dugan reports to Jim Price, vice president, media innovation, and is responsible for leading the overall marketing efforts for the Empower MediaMarketing brand.

Dugan most recently was director of marketing communications for FRCH Design Worldwide, a Cincinnati-based company specializing in architecture, interior design, graphic communications and brand strategy. At FRCH, Dugan helped raise awareness of the firm through strategic marketing efforts,

Before joining FRCH in 2004, Dugan worked in the advertising business for 12 years including positions at HSR Business to Business, the world’s largest B-to-B focused agency, and Sive/Young & Rubicam.

Blogging since 2002, Dugan writes for two blogs and both are ranked among Advertising Age magazine’s Power 150, a ranking of the world’s top marketing blogs. Dugan is also the founder of Cincinnati Social Media, a local organization bringing together professionals to meet, share and learn about social media and its impact on business.

In 2009, Dugan was presented with the Werner-VonderHaar-Bogart Award, the highest honor the Cincinnati PRSA chapter bestows upon a public relations professional.
