SVP, Digital Media
We are looking for an experienced media agency leader to join our high caliber digital team. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years’ experience working with large budgets across the digital landscape. They will bring with them client diplomacy, strong presentation and communication skills and a proven track record for managing and growing a team.
The right person will have a depth of experience working in ad tech, search, social media, and digital partnerships with large publishers. We are looking for someone who has strong managerial experience and a deep understanding of digital structure in a media agency. They will be responsible for the quality of work output from the digital team, along with digital thought leadership and new business responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Building relationships and maintaining contact with key client leaders across accounts
- Develops and merchandises thought leadership at client and industry events
- Coaches, mentors, builds, and improves a team of digital experts including search, social, programmatic and digital partnerships
- Includes a leadership role in the hiring process, employee performance reviews and digital training
- Must actively provide direct feedback (positive and negative) to team members to improve the quality of work they provide their clients and client teams
- Regularly consults with internal client teams to improve their knowledge and digital confidence
- Is very active in new business presentations, creating and presenting compelling content while learning how to tell the Empower story
- Author and editor of case studies and agency POVs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree+
- 15+ years digital media, specifically search, social, programmatic or digital partnerships
- Current or past familiarity with planning tools (e.g. comScore, MRI, flowchart tools, web analytics)
- Current or past familiarity with ad servers (DCM, FlashTalking, etc.)
- Current or past familiarity with other ad tech (DSPs, DMPs)
- Willingness to travel 3-7 days on average per month (10-20%)
