Senior Vice President, Investment

 SVP of Investment will be responsible for leading tactical media buying teams across TV, Digital (including mobile, display, programmatic, social), Video, Audio, Print and OOH. 

Works alongside Chief Investment Officer with support from Investment Operational Lead to oversight teams with varying levels of experience.  

Responsible for leading day-to-day operations of cross-functional teams and furthering the vision of Investment strategies in support of other key senior leadership. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead Vision, Strategy and Approach alongside CIO and agency leadership
  • Lead Day-to-Day Operations alongside Investment VP’s
  • Lead team stewardship of all areas alongside Investment VP’s
  • Oversee the full      adoption and implementation of Empower’s data-driven, performance media      approach
  • Actively      participate in new business pitch work, inclusive of representing Investment      in presentations
  • Manage key      publisher relationships and the development of Joint Business Partnerships      with selected partners
  • Represent Empower      within the media community
  • Develop competitive advantage for all Investment areas 
  • Lead operational and activation excellence through implementation of best practices
  • Support Investment  Operations Lead in recruiting, hiring, and career-pathing of next-generation media leaders.

Leadership Qualities

  • 15+ years of  agency experience with a focus on media planning and buying
  • Confident, visible and connected leader 
  • Personable and dynamic, this leader can develop relationships (both internally and      externally) with all levels of organizations
  • Innovative and  visionary able to facilitate Empower’s Investment vision
  • Action-oriented  and capable of delivering on Investment goals
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading teams of 75+ people in multiple locations
  • Strategic leader with knowledge of hands of keyboard efforts
  • Solution-oriented and collaborative, able to identify and solve challenges in team      environments
  • Able to lead and navigate client relationships at various levels
  • Has ability to influence and build credibility at senior management level both      internally and externally
  • In-touch leader with awareness and pulse on all negotiations across all media 
  • Effective collaborates across key partnerships
  • Strong strategic mindset with buying extensive exposure, appreciation and respect for buying process – particularly in digital.
  • Willingness to travel a must
