You strive to learn more each day while making sure the team tasks are executed.?You love numbers and love to solve problems. This position will be based in either Cincinnati or Chicago.

Empower is looking for a creative analytically minded, Paid Social Media Specialist for our Paid Social team. This person will focus on social media planning and execution on large-scale and multi-faceted campaigns. This position has a focus on paid social planning and activation across all major social platforms. Prior hands on experience in paid social is a must. The Paid Social Media Specialist will also need to demonstrate an ability to help create and execute tactical plans that align with the client's strategic plans.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute paid social media strategies, follow up with manages and planning teams to discuss client feedback, propose new strategies, optimizations and report on overall paid social campaigns
  • Manage paid social media budget, pacing and monthly billing reconciliation
  • Setup and implement paid social workflow with little oversight
  • Analyze performance data, identifying strategic opportunities with the ability to communicate internally and externally these findings
  • Manage relationships with vendors and other partners on behalf of the team
  • Understands social platforms and knows what resources can provide answers to questions

Qualifications/Education/Experience:

  • 1-2 year experience in Paid Social Media Marketing
  • Must be proactive with the ability to keep track of important dates and deliverables
  • Must take initiative to find answers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills is critical
  • Should have working knowledge of digital media planning and buying
  • Must be able to handle multiple, competing priorities while meeting deadlines, managing risk, and troubleshooting problems
  • Experience with social audience development 1P and 3P
  • Working knowledge of: Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; Facebook Business Manager; Twitter Ads; LinkedIn; Kenshoo; 4C; Google Analytics, or Adobe

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 1 year paid social media experience
  • Certifications in at least 1 platform

Qualifications:

  • Superior listening skills and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective presentation skills
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude
  • Knowledge of and experience with paid social media
  • Acute attention to detail and superb time/ task management skills
