Empower is looking for a Digital Marketing Senior Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize digital media buys for several agency clients. The right candidate will have experience in paid social, paid search, programmatic media, and in commerce platforms. This is an exciting start-up-like opportunity that will play a critical role in Empower’s Media Agent product team within an established, award-winning organization. Media Agent is a new software-assisted approach to the typical agency experience. However, clients on Media Agent still expect and receive executional excellence in the digital marketing campaigns we run on their behalf. 

This is a role with high expectations and high career growth opportunities for the right candidate that can meet and exceed those expectations.
 

Responsibilities:
 

  • Participate in Empower training and ongoing internal development meetings covering best practices in Social, Search, Programmatic, and Commerce 
  • Assist Media Planner in developing client plans and revising client plans as business situations change
  • Set up targeting, tracking, creative, and bid strategies within digital platforms for activation
  • Flawlessly execute digital campaigns
  • Set up and run A/B and multivariate tests within platform, continuously monitoring results and sharing learnings
  • Keep a detailed record of campaign optimizations and the corresponding results from those optimizations
  • Actively engage in client conversations to merchandise your efforts and the performance of the campaigns
  • Maintain a hunger and drive for expanding our agency and each client’s knowledge base by trying new things and seeing what works best
  • Be a student of the industry, staying current with developing news and thinking through how to adapt client campaigns in light of those developments
  • Be vocal within the agency and various agency teams
  • Work seamlessly with Account and Operations teams to set, manage, and deliver on client expectations


Qualifications
 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hands-on-keyboard digital marketing role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and years of experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high demonstrated accountability
  • Demonstrated technical and mathematical proficiency
  • Ability to function independently, requiring minimal oversight
  • Motivated by new challenges and problems to solve on a daily basis
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment with multiple client assignments
