The Senior Specialist role is managerial, but also one of team leadership. You will help lead client’s paid social media while working with senior social team leadership to elevate team goals. This person will be proactive, creative and analytical.

Empower is seeking a skilled Senior Social Media Specialist with 2-4 years of experience in paid social media. The Senior Specialist will focus on planning and execution of paid social campaigns across major social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Snapchat. This person will be able to plan and execute intricate social campaigns that will show innovation while meeting campaign objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan multiple paid social campaigns in an innovative way that will bring client goals to life
  • Execute paid social campaigns with an attention to detail while then analyze data to optimize campaigns to stay on target based upon plans
  • Create client-facing reports that bring campaigns to life through data and visual that show the success of the plan and campaign stewardship
  • Will be able to analyze measurement studies and attribution to identify strategic opportunities while also demonstrating a willingness to bring new ideas, approaches and tests to the client
  • Stays ahead of relevant social trends while keeping the client informed
  • Become a strategic member of the clients team by understanding client product offering and confidently recommends social strategies that meet client’s business goals
  • Oversee social media budgets, pacing and monthly billing reconciliation
  • Takes initiative to bring the best solutions forward based on sound logic and data

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing, advertising or communications
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience managing paid social media campaigns along with a solid understanding of paid, earned and owned media; agency experience preferable
  • Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient, knowledgeable and or certified in but not limited to: Kenshoo, 4C, Facebook Blue Print, Twitter Flight School, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads
  • 1-2 years of oversight, management or mentoring team members work is preferred
  • Experience in an agency environment is preferred
  • Experience with third party social platforms, such as Kenshoo, 4C and others
  • Proven ability to present ideas with confidence to senior leadership
  • Self-starter and willing to continually and proactively follow up with internal teams and the client
  • Must be able to handle multiple, competing priorities while meeting deadlines, managing risk, and troubleshooting problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective presentation skills
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude
  • Acute attention to detail and superb time/task management skills
