Empower’s CEO Jim Price Acquires Agency From Founder, Mary Beth Price.
When asked why Jim Price didn’t follow in the same footsteps as many successors do and wait to inherit the company his parents founded; his simple answer spoke volumes. “I’m a leader who’s all in. And to continue to lead with purpose and long-term vision I had to own it,” Price said.

Under his leadership as CEO, Jim Price successfully achieved record-breaking revenue growth the last three years, created new revenue streams with the addition of Creative and Word-of-Mouth Marketing and earned prestigious industry titles including MediaPost’s Media Agency of the Year and most recently Ad Age’s Agency A-List Standout – the first Cincinnati-based agency to ever receive this national recognition.

The Creative Media Agency Remains Fiercely Independent With Jim Price As Owner

“In the last decade, he has proven to be a visionary leader who understands that change is constant in this industry and has successfully paved the way for Empower to evolve into The Creative Media Agency that it is today,” says Founder Mary Beth Price.

“Thirty-four years ago, Mary Beth Price was considered to be a trailblazer for unbundling Media and Creative when she founded the agency with LensCrafters being its first media client,” Jim Price says. “And now with the evolution of digital technology and data, Media is where the real innovation is happening and Empower is able to inform media and message and create on the fly,” he says.
