Having spent 30+years at Empower, Denise is one of the few people that have experienced all the bulk of the agency’s evolution. She’s seen it all.

Denise leads a business unit that houses Empower’s longest standing client, Bush’s Beans (20+ years), Southeastern Mills and TriHealth. As a business lead, she nurtures a team of individuals who are responsible for developing and executing creative media ideas that solve client business challenges.

She is a proven business leader with deep expertise and knowledge of CPG, retail and healthcare. Building a strong track record of driving sales and brand growth through strategic marketing leadership, Denise develops and oversees implementation of strategic marketing and media strategies with proof positive business results.

Over the past three decades, Denise has led marketing and media for many leading brands including Bush’s Beans, Dick’s Sporting Goods, GNC, Bush’s Beans, US Bank, Bush’s Beans Jimmy Dean Sausage, Easy Spirit, Rich’s SeaPack, and Land O’Frost.

What’s it been like at Empower while the industry undergoes a massive amount of change?
There is no doubt that it’s a challenge; however, I love to learn so working in an industry and with clients that are constantly changing is exciting!
Who’s been a key mentor through your career?
My mentor has always been Mary Beth. As a young business woman she made me feel as if I could do anything! She taught me to take risks and figure things out. Most importantly, she taught me I could have a rich and rewarding career and be a fantastic wife and mother at the same time. I will forever be grateful for her unwavering confidence and support.

When you’re not here at Empower, what are you up to?
When I am not at Empower I enjoy traveling with my husband, cooking and spending quality time with my three daughters and two black labs.
