Rob FitzGerald
President and Chief Operating Officer

Born and raised in England, FitzGerald has worked across the globe and in all aspects of agency business including strategy, social media, creative, media, and operations. He’s held senior roles at global agency giants, serving as president of OMD in China and managing director of Initiative in Tokyo. For the last 13 years, he’s been immersed in the U.S. ad scene, leading a number of agencies both big and small.

Since joining the Empower family, Rob has been a key player in expanding our Creative Media capabilities and reimagining how Empower can drive results for our clients. An industry veteran, Rob has experience working with a wide range of iconic brands. Examples include: Diageo, Heineken, Dos Equis, Coca-Cola and McDonald’s Bermuda Department of Tourism, Disney Parks, Cartier, and JetBlue Airways. Adidas and Puma Revlon, Kao, P&G, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson T-Mobile and Verizon Jeep and Chrysler.

What drew you to Empower?
When I envisioned what the agency of the future looked like it was everything Empower embodied. We’re on the cutting edge of media-centric creativity. We have a long history of trust and transparency, steady growth, thriving culture and an appetite for evolving. In short, I’m leading an agency my family would be proud to work at.
Why do you love this business?
It’s in my DNA. I can’t imagine doing anything else.

Lil Wayne and Kanye West. Enough said.
