What’s the one quality you look for when interviewing talent?
Communication skills are critical in this industry. Whether it’s driving clarity on a project with the internal stakeholders or pitching a plan to a client, it’s imperative to have strong communication skills at all levels.
What separates a good candidate from a great candidate?
I don’t believe there is one quality that separates a good candidate from a great candidate. It's a combination of their technical, communication and problem-solving skills.
Communication skills are critical in this industry.
When you’re not wooing top talent, what are you doing outside of Empower?
When I'm not working, I'm spending my time with my family. I have 3 daughters – 8, 5 and 1 years old that pretty much control all my “free time.” We enjoy hiking, playing outside and crafting.
